What is the best time of year to paint a façade?
The fine season, from spring to early autumn, is the most favourable: dry weather, mild temperatures, even drying. We plan the job according to the weather and the size of the building.
How often does a façade need repainting?
It depends on the exposure, the surface and the quality of the previous paint. Around ten years is often quoted, but it is better to act at the first signs of wear (chalking, cracks, flaking) than to wait until the render is damaged.
Do I need a permit to repaint my façade?
Depending on the municipality and the type of building, a notification or permit may be required, especially for a change of colour or for a protected building. Check with your municipality before the work; we can point you in the right direction.
